Lamentation premiere at the Swansea Festival

Brangwyn Hall, Swansea. Sir Karl’s new composition Lamentation is premiered alongside For the Fallen and The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.

Subtitled A lament for Syria, Jenkins sets a text by 13 year-old Syrian poet Amineh Abou Kerech who was awarded the John Betjeman Prize in 2017. For more information and to book tickets click below.
